Product Description Automatically controls mirror return (open) and retraction (close) in conjunction with door lock/unlock operations. Reacts only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key is removed), so even if the vehicle is equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this function. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine shutdown, automatic open will not occur on subsequent unlocks. This device is designed to prevent the mirror from inadvertently opening when parking in tight spaces. On vehicles where the manual mirror open/close switch is fixed to either "open" or "close", operation can be set to ACC (IG for Honda vehicles) linked instead of unlock linked.
