Product Description Automatically controls mirror return (open) and retraction (close) in conjunction with door lock/unlock. It only operates when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key is removed), so even if the vehicle is equipped with a speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this function. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine stop, automatic opening will not occur on subsequent unlocks. This is designed to prevent the mirror from unexpectedly opening when parking in tight spaces. For vehicles where the mirror's manual open/close switch is fixed to either "open" or "close", it is also possible to configure it to be linked with ACC (IG on Honda vehicles) instead of unlock-linked.
