It responds only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key is removed), so even if the vehicle is equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this function. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine stop, automatic opening will not occur on subsequent unlocking. This feature is designed to prevent the mirror from opening inadvertently when parking in tight spaces.
