Fuel injection pump for 300Tdi, 2.5-liter diesel turbo engine for Land Rover Discovery 1 and 2. The engine would not start, so before Golden Week this year it was replaced with a mechanical control fuel injection pump and removed. According to the mechanic who did the work: "No initial pump operating sound (beep) when the key is turned on, and fuel leakage was observed from the ECU. The injection pump itself may not have any problems." It is unclear whether the injection pump body had any abnormalities or not. Before replacement, fuel filter inspection, fuel lift pump replacement, and fuel air bleeding were confirmed and properly performed, but fuel was not supplied downstream of the injection pump, resulting in no …
