PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Automatically controls mirror return (open) and folding (close) in conjunction with door lock/unlock operations. Reacts only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key removed), so even if the vehicle is equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this feature. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine stop, automatic opening will not occur on subsequent unlocks. This design prevents the mirror from opening unintentionally during parking in tight spaces. For vehicles with manual mirror open/close switches fixed to either "open" or "close" position, it can also be set to operate in conjunction with ACC (IG on Honda vehicles) instead of unlock linkage.
