Reacts only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key removed), so even if the vehicle is equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this feature. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine shutdown, automatic opening will not occur on subsequent unlocking. This design prevents mirrors from opening unintentionally when parking in tight spaces. For vehicles with fixed manual open/close mirror switches, ACC (IG for Honda vehicles) linked operation is also possible instead of unlock linked operation.
