Responds only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key is removed), so even if equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this function. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine stop, automatic open will not be performed on subsequent unlock. This device is designed to prevent the mirror from opening unintentionally when parking in tight spaces.
