Reacts only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key is removed), so even if your vehicle is equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this feature. When manually closing and locking the door after engine stop, automatic opening will not occur on subsequent unlocking. This design prevents the mirror from opening unintentionally when parking in tight spaces. For vehicles with manual mirror open/close switches fixed to either open or close position, it is also possible to set operation to ACC (IG for Honda vehicles) linked instead of unlock linked.
