PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Automatically controls mirror return (open) and retraction (close) in conjunction with door lock/unlock operations. Reacts only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key removed), so even if the vehicle is equipped with speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this function. If manually closed and the door is locked after engine stop, the mirror will not automatically open on subsequent unlocks. This design prevents the mirror from opening unexpectedly when parking in tight spaces. For vehicles with manual mirror open/close switches fixed in either position, it can be set to ACC (IG on Honda vehicles) linked operation instead of unlock linked operation.
