PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Automatically controls mirror return (open) and retraction (close) in conjunction with door lock/unlock. Reacts only when the engine is stopped (ACC off or engine key removed), so even if equipped with vehicle speed-linked door lock function, the mirror will not open/close with this feature. If manually closed and door is locked after engine stop, automatic open will not occur on subsequent unlock. This is designed to prevent the mirror from opening inadvertently during parking in tight spaces. For vehicles with manual open/close switch set to a fixed open or close position, ACC (IG for Honda vehicles) linking can be used instead of unlock linking.
